Hay tres grandes distop\u00edas que captaron mi imaginaci\u00f3n y atenci\u00f3n durante la adolescencia. Grandes cl\u00e1sicos de la ciencia ficci\u00f3n que, aparentemente, retorc\u00edan el d\u00eda a d\u00eda hasta l\u00edmites irreales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

George Orwell, en 1984<\/a><\/strong>, mostraba un mundo en el que se manipulaba la historia y exist\u00eda una vigilancia masiva de todos y cada uno de sus ciudadanos, presidida por una asfixiante maquinaria de represi\u00f3n pol\u00edtica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En Un mundo feliz<\/a><\/strong>, Aldous Huxley presenta un mundo inundado por el consumo, la comodidad y la felicidad, en el que se manejan las emociones a trav\u00e9s de estupefacientes y cuya sociedad est\u00e1 ordenada en cerradas castas, sin pensamiento cr\u00edtico. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

El largometraje Brazil<\/a><\/strong>, inspirado en la distop\u00eda orwelliana y dirigido por Terry Gilliam, presenta una sociedad dirigida por las fr\u00edas m\u00e1quinas y la burocracia y dirigida por un estado dictatorial. Y todo ello, aderezado con grandes dosis de humor sat\u00edrico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hace unos 10 a\u00f1os cre\u00eda que el mundo iba evolucionando, progresando y mejorando; pero la realidad imperante en todo el planeta hoy d\u00eda me est\u00e1 demostrando que vamos en clara tendencia cr\u00edtica e involucionista. Pienso en todo ello y solo puedo pensar en la frase de Mark Renton en Trainspotting<\/a><\/strong>: \u00abDiane ten\u00eda raz\u00f3n. El mundo est\u00e1 cambiando, la m\u00fasica est\u00e1 cambiando, las drogas est\u00e1n cambiando, incluso los hombres y las mujeres est\u00e1n cambiando. Dentro de 1.000 a\u00f1os ya no habr\u00e1 t\u00edos ni t\u00edas, solo gilipollas\u00bb<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Y entonces veo la foto de James Harden<\/a><\/strong>, con su Maserati MC20 y sus zapatillas ‘Metamorphosis’ vol.9, y no puedo estar m\u00e1s de acuerdo con el bueno de Renton…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
