Hace nueve d\u00edas me lleg\u00f3, a uno de los grupos de WhatsApp m\u00e1s activos que tengo, un mensaje de esos fat\u00eddicos. El padre de Eloy hab\u00eda fallecido. Curiosidades de la vida, coincid\u00ed con \u00e9l en la guarder\u00eda y, dos d\u00e9cadas m\u00e1s tarde, jugamos juntos en el mismo equipo de f\u00fatbol<\/strong>, la UE Celtic<\/strong>. Desde entonces tenemos contacto (uno de los pocos elementos positivos que nos ha ofrecido la tecnolog\u00eda) y junto con otros dos amigos -Josep y Javier- mantenemos la llama del deporte (y del heavy metal) que nos uni\u00f3 en nuestra juventud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tirando atr\u00e1s, Eloy ha estado en tres de los momentos m\u00e1s intensos, divertidos y surrealistas que he vivido en un terreno de juego (presididos por los campos de tierra y los balones Mikasa<\/a><\/strong>). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Un d\u00eda de lluvia era, indefectiblemente, sin\u00f3nimo de asistencia de cuatro gatos. Recuerdo un entreno en el que el campo era un aut\u00e9ntico lodazal. Salimos solo Tao (un delantero nigeriano muy divertido que hab\u00eda jugado en tercera divisi\u00f3n en Alemania), Eloy y yo. Solo hizo falta un bal\u00f3n para re\u00edrnos, rebozarnos y disfrutar como ni\u00f1os debajo de la lluvia…<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Debido a un problema de tiroides no diagnosticado, Eloy jug\u00f3 con nosotros unas semanas en un estado lamentable (lleg\u00f3 a estar a 600 de colesterol). Se le trababa la lengua (parec\u00eda ebrio), se le enrampaban las piernas a los pocos minutos de empezar a jugar y sus movimientos eran m\u00e1s lentos que de costumbre. En un derby de la Verneda (barrio de Barcelona donde jug\u00e1bamos) contra el Proven\u00e7alenc, echamos por el retrete un claro 2-4 para llegar al descuento con un 5-4 desfavorable. Eloy, que hab\u00eda salido hac\u00eda pocos instantes, remat\u00f3 al fondo de la red (medio cay\u00e9ndose) un testarazo para igualar el encuentro en el \u00faltimo suspiro y desatar el \u00e9xtasis…<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. En un torneo de postemporada, Eloy fue rebautizado como Elvy (el mote por el que lo conocemos actualmente) gracias a un speaker despistado…<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    La muerte cercana me recuerda que la vida es m\u00e1s corta de lo que parece a simple vista. As\u00ed que una cena en el Bar Bodega Juan rematado por un garito de heavy metal ser\u00e1 una ocasi\u00f3n perfecta para rememorar esos momentos y partirnos todos a carcajadas…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
